Interior Painting
Walls, ceilings, woodwork and doors, finished clean and cut by hand.
Interior painting is what we do most, and it is where good prep really shows. We fill cracks and dents, sand the woodwork, caulk the gaps, and prime bare patches so the colour goes on even and stays put. Sockets and switch plates come off so the lines are sharp, not taped and fuzzy.
We help you choose a finish that suits the room, not just a colour. Hallways and kitchens take a knock, so they want something wipeable and tough. Bedrooms can take a softer matt. We will talk you through it in plain terms and order the right paint for the job.
Exterior Painting
Front doors, render, masonry and woodwork, protected against the weather.
Outside work is as much about protection as looks. London weather is hard on paint, so we scrape back what is flaking, treat any bare or rotten timber, and use masonry and exterior paints built to take the rain and sun. Done right, a good exterior repaint holds for years, not months.
We work off proper access, keep the site tidy, and pick our days around the forecast so the coats go on dry and cure properly. Front doors, window frames, render and garden walls all fall under this.
Wallpapering
Feature walls, full rooms and murals, hung straight with matched patterns.
Wallpaper lives or dies on the prep and the patience. We make sure the wall is sound and smooth first, then hang the paper with the pattern matched and the seams tight. Get it wrong and every join shouts at you. Get it right and you stop noticing the joins at all, which is the point.
Whether it is one feature wall behind the bed or a whole room in a heavy patterned paper, we measure carefully so you buy the right amount and waste as little as possible.
Plastering
Skimming, patching and full replaster, left flat and ready to paint.
Old London plaster cracks, bulges and blows over time. We skim tired walls and ceilings back to smooth, patch damaged sections, and take on full replaster jobs where the old stuff is past saving. A flat, sound surface is the foundation for everything else, so this is often the first step before painting.
We keep the dust down as much as the job allows, sheet everything off, and give the plaster the time it needs to dry before any paint touches it.
